Prayer For Healing...

Have you ever felt helpless. When you see someone sick or hurting or in pain...and all you can do is watch from the side, and you have no 'power' to do anything,
All you want to do is make it better...and you cant!

It really drains my heart to see this. We are currently going through it with my little boy, who is 1 month old now and in terrible pain at times.
What are my options? I cant just sit back and see this happen!

Well, you know what, as humans, WE dont have the power to heal anything. BUT, through Gods power in us and in Gods will, we can heal anything!
We have the power of God in us to heal, just like Jesus did when He was on earth.

For me to pray for my little boy shouldn't be daunting, it should happen naturally. And this is the same for anyone that you may find the calling to pray for.

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases (Psalm 103:3)
Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up (James 5:14-15.) .

First of all, we need the power of God in our lives to be able to heal others. How? We need complete and 100% faith in God that He will heal. Our faith in God depicts how much we rely on His power to live.
Your faith has made you well,” Jesus said to the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years (Luke 8:48. NASB).
This when the woman who asked Jesus to heal her.

Call on Jesus to 'intervene' in your life. Call on His power, and EXPECT it. Know that His power will come upon you! (Faith).
Jesus said to anyone who believes, "They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover" (Mark 16:18, KJV). Any believer, one who believes and acts on God’s Word, can do this for you. The “laying on of hands” is one of the six basic principles of the doctrine of Christ described in Hebrews 6:2 (look it up), a great truth neglected in many churches.

Also, Tell others about who you want to pray for and ask them to back up your prayer. Ask them to pray for you while you ask Gods power in the situation.
Confess that Jesus is Lord with your own mouth!
Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and to saturate your spirit. Then by faith, expect the power of God to come upon you.

With this, you are ready to pray for anyone, anytime, anywhere!

What sometimes helps is to put a substance to the situation. What I mean to to get some oil, pray for Gods Spirit and physically anoint the person that you are praying for.
By anointing them, basically puts a physical thing to your prayer and you are physically applying "Holy" oil to a person who's needs healing.
You don't have to do this, just an idea)
It just using a physical substance to apply divine intervention.

Lay your hands on the person, pray for them. Pray for there peace and immediate healing . Always pray through the Spirit of Jesus.

Remain in Jesus. Remain in His word, sometimes quote scripture if you can while you pray. Know the promises of God and expect that Gods promises will apply.

Cry out to God, Feel His Spirit filling you as you pray. Feel His Spirit being transferred from you to the person you are praying for. Know that God is there, with you, all the time...FOREVER.

I will most certainly do this with my son, and I know God will be with me and give me the strength to pray in HIS NAME!

Praise to our God or healing, Strength and Power
Amen
