Are you ready for Christ?

It says in 1 Thessalonians 5:2 that Christ will come like a thief in the night....Really?
That is scary!

Will we be ready for Him?

To me, the thief in the night does not mean that He is just going to pop in unexpectedly and say 'Hi, I am here to save you!"
If we are Christians, we would know very well that Christ is definitely coming, and soon! We dont know when, but we know he keeps His promises and He will come, with a big trumpet and a commanding shout, and those who are not believers and did not believe that Christ dies for our sins and rose again for us, are not going to be saved.
I think this particular verse is aimed at those people, that don't think Christ is actually going to come again, and when He does, it will be a huge surprise..'like a thief in the night!'

Stay alert and clearheaded, doesn't mean we cant ever sleep, but it means stay strong in faith with God, stay very close in your relationship with Jesus, know Him, Speak to Him, Love Him and look at Him as your Father. You will know in your heart, then, when Jesus is coming to save us from this world.

Those Christians that have already died on earth will rise first to meet Jesus in the clouds. After this, us 'living' Christians will rise to meet Jesus and our long last family and friends in the clouds and spend the rest of eternity with them! Isn't this just an awesome promise?

This is the reason why Christians are called, worldwide, to spread the word and love of God to others and un-believers, so that they may hear His good news and also be part of Gods promise of life eternally with Him in peace, joy, worship and love!

When Christ dies for us and rose again....He rose so that we could have eternal life with Him forever!

FAITH = is knowing and believing what happened in the past.
LOVE = is how we should live our life now.
HOPE = is expecting the future and knowing that God keeps His promises.
